Bananas are high in potassium and potassium gets lost when you drink. Taking some bananas will help put some calmness in your stomach and it will equally replenish your strength. They are a good option for doing away with a hangover.
TAKE SOMETHING THAT HAS FRUCTOSE
Fructose is a type of sugar that helps your body metabolize alcohol more quickly. Plus, it is rich in the vitamins, minerals and enzymes that help quickly overcome the after-effects of drinking. An example of such is vegetable juice (tomato juice). It contains vitamins that help combat the effects of a hangover.
Taking a piece of bread with egg is not a bad idea. The carbohydrate will help replenish lost nutrients in the body and give you more energy. The egg provides cysteine that breaks down the alcohol in the body and reduces toxicity.

HAVE SOME REST
Sometimes all you need is a rest to get yourself back. Try pouring cold water on your head before laying down to sleep. The feelings of a hangover can be overwhelming but just relax and in time, you’ll be fine.
STAY AWAY FROM NOISE
When having a hangover, you want to do all you can to avoid any form of noise because of the banging in your head. Stay in a place that is devoid of noise so as to recover fast from that hangover.
