I am very sure a lot of people who not only love to eat cakes but also love the beautiful view they see from a display window would like to have an idea on the technique involved in making one. You will agree with me that there are certain days you wish you could do something homely rather than buying from a store or just wanting to have a homemade snack. Baking a cake is fun and not a big deal if you are passionate about it like I am.
What you need:
An oven, a mixer (electric or hand mixer), measuring scale, a sieve, flour, sugar, butter, eggs, flavouring, nutmeg, baking powder, preservative(liquid or powdery form),a baking pan, a spatula.
What to do:
Measure the flour, eggs (not yet broken), butter and sugar and place in separate bowls. Bear it in mind that the quantity of flour, eggs and butter must be the same; for example if you want to use 500g of flour, it must be the same for the butter and eggs. The quantity of sugar should be a little less than that of others. Sieve your flour to remove crumbs and add a pinch of nutmeg and a teaspoon of baking powder and preservative.
